Full Steam Ahead, as Key Funding is Secured

It’s full steam ahead for Digital Futures. In mid-May, The Bridge at Waterloo secured a crucial £8,000 funding per annum for the next three years.
The Walcot Foundation, a grant-making trust that works with financially deprived people living in Lambeth, will partner with the pioneering tech programme that equips young unemployed with digital coding skills.
A key funder of St John’s outreach project, the Walcot Foundation first got involved with The Bridge at Waterloo in 2016, when the pilot course was launched.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with the wonderful Walcot Foundation for the next three years,” said Jack Allen, Development Director at the Bridge at Waterloo.
“We share the Foundation's focus on removing barriers in education and building employability. This is a real, concrete step up into a very bright future for the Digital Futures programme and we look forward to helping many more young people going forward.”
Meanwhile, applications for this July's four-week course are coming in fast. If you are interested in applying for a place, please click here.
