Step on the Bridge to Employment this May

DANIEL GREGORY is the Programme Manager at The Bridge to Employment, the popular job skills course held throughout the year in the heart of London's Waterloo. We caught up with Daniel to find out about the next course, which runs from May 7th– 9th 2019.

Daniel, can you tell us about the next Bridge to Employment Course?

This is a three-day job skills course is designed for people looking to find the right job for them. We pack the three days with valuable career advice; everything from interview preparation when you apply for your dream job to time management once you have landed it!

What kind of topics will be covered?

We offer CV writing skills, interview preparation and technique, job-hunting tips, effective communication and confidence-building and professionalism. It’s a small class, so participants get plenty of individual advice and feedback, and many of them stay in touch with us after the course. It’s great to watch participants go on to secure fulfilling employment.

Will it improve my job prospects?

Yes! The course has an excellent success rate; over 50% of participants go on into full-time employment.

Who can take the course?

The course is open to everyone over 16 who wants to kick-start their career. Participants come from all ages and backgrounds, from people starting out to those returning to work after a long break, and everything in between! The course is free, but we do ask that you commit fully to the three days in order to get the most out of it.

Where and when is the course held?

The course is held in the beautiful and bright workspaces of St Andrew’s, Short Street, London SE1 8LJ. It's a short stroll from Waterloo Station and Southwark Station.
